With its larger dish size, the 980 can be used with Expedition Communications iDirect Service. The 980 weighs less than 1.2 meters systems and has a smaller rooftop footprint and lower overhead clearance height, making it a good choice for mobile users who need more than a basic mobile Internet system.
The 980 uses a strong actuator to quickly position the dish accurately, normally in less than 3 minutes….. or about 1/2 the time of other systems.
This iNetVu 980 is very ruggedly constructed, which can be seen in its ability to withstand winds up to 100 mph… even while deployed.
