To assist Children of the Promise, a non-profit organization in its dedication to caring for the physical, emotional, medical, and spiritual needs of sick and malnourished infants/toddlers in Northern Haiti, Expedition Communications donated and provided the installation of a 1.2M VSAT system. The satellite-based Internet service enables COTP staff and volunteers to communicate with partnerships of churches and individuals around the globe.

Expedition Communications is a global communications integrator committed to providing first-class services to improve the well-being of lives in developing regions throughout the world. The menu of services we offer is growing at a steady pace. With this growth, we have been able to accomplish more and have a larger impact on the world community.
Children of the Promise has committed to caring for the Infants of Haiti since 1999. The main mission for Children of the Promise is to take in babies for three months to help return them to full health and allow their family time to get back on their feet if they are going through a difficult time. Once a child is healthy enough, they reunite them with their biological family. If this is not able to happen then they help facilitate an adoption for the child.
Every year, hundreds of volunteers travel to COTP on short-term trips to participate in their continued work in Northern Haiti.
